My Story

My name is Mélanie Godin
I grew up in a small town in New Brunswick with an adventurous spirit and a deep love of learning. My path led me to live in different cities across Canada and pursue a wide range of education. These experiences have shaped not only who I am, but also the way I approach my work—blending modern and complementary practices to support women in living their best, healthiest lives.

For more than a decade, I’ve dedicated my career to supporting women’s health and wellness through a holistic approach that blends modern science with complementary medicine. My passion for understanding the connection between body, mind, and spirit has led me to study and integrate a range of therapeutic approaches, including strength training, remedial massage therapy, mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy, EFT, and Traditional Chinese Medicine.
I believe in personalized care, offering women the knowledge and tools to support their health and wellness journey. Education is key, helping you see how everything is interconnected and giving you the confidence to choose the path that feels right for you.
My own healing journey has given me a deeper understanding of the importance of working with the nervous system. From living with CPTSD, to rehabilitating after a motor vehicle accident, sports injuries, chronic back pain, and a severe concussion while rollerblading with my dog, I’ve learned firsthand the physical and emotional toll recovery can take. These experiences have shaped the way I practice today—always mindful to take a holistic approach when creating a treatment plan.
Outside of work, I enjoy staying active and exploring Nova Scotia’s beautiful coastline. I love discovering new waterfalls with my partner and our dogs, and I’m excited to continue improving my surfing skills. Today, I feel fortunate to call Canada’s Ocean Playground my home.
