Ancient Wisdom, Modern Care

Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) has been used for thousands of years in the prevention and treatment of diseases. TCM includes practices such as acupuncture, gua sha, moxibustion, cupping therapy, and the use of food and herbal teas as medicine, all tailored to your body’s unique constitution. These therapies work together to encourage balance, nurture your body’s natural healing ability, and deepen your connection to your mind and body.

Who It’s For

This service is especially supportive if you're a women navigating midlife changes and are:

  • Experiencing hormonal shifts such as PMS, perimenopause, or menopause.

  • Dealing with pelvic health concerns, including pain, tension, or changes related to hormonal transitions.

  • Feeling stuck in stress, anxiety, or overwhelm and seeking nervous system support.

  • Managing chronic pain, fatigue and disrupted sleep.

  • Seeking to feel more at home, safe and connected in your body.

What to Expect in Your Assessment

When you come for acupuncture, I take the time to understand the whole picture of your health. We’ll talk about things like your sleep, digestion, stress levels, energy, and emotions — all of which help reveal the root cause of what you’re experiencing. This allows me to create a treatment that’s tailored to your unique needs.

As part of a Traditional Chinese Medicine assessment, I may also look at your tongue and take your pulse.

  • Tongue diagnosis: the shape, color, and coating of your tongue provide insight into how your body is functioning.

  • Pulse diagnosis: by gently feeling your wrist, I can learn more about your energy and how different systems in your body are working together.

These simple, non-invasive techniques are unique to TCM and give us a deeper understanding of where imbalances may be showing up — and how to bring you back into harmony.

The Goal of Treatment

One of the unique aspects of Traditional Chinese Medicine is that we don’t always need a Western diagnosis in order to help you. Instead, we use our own methods of assessment to understand what your body is communicating and where support is needed.  The heart of this approach is simple: to get to the root cause of what you’re experiencing and gently guide your body back into harmony. Each treatment is designed to help you feel more at ease, more connected, and more supported — not just in the moment, but in your daily life.
